Hi all, I’m currently on a Freemium license and don’t have access to the Quiz engine, but I was wondering if there’s a way for learners to only retake the questions they got wrong when retrying a quiz, instead of having to go through all the questions again.
Thanks in advance!

With the Quiz Engine, you can achieve a similar outcome by using the “Require correct answer to continue” feature. What this means in practical terms is that learners won’t need to redo questions they’ve already answered correctly - rather they continue working through the assessment until every question is answered correctly. It’s not about skipping back to earlier questions, but about ensuring mastery in one go.
You have full control at both the quiz level and the question level. You can set a number of attempts for the entire quiz, as well as attempts for each individual question. You can also enable “Require correct answer to continue” to prevent learners from moving to the next question until they answer correctly, optionally reveal the correct answer after each attempt, set a timer to complete the quiz, define a passing score (%) for the quiz, show or hide the quiz summary of correct/incorrect answers, and enable shuffle answers for each question.
When you enable “Require correct answer to continue” at the question level, learners must answer each question correctly before they can move forward to the next question. They’ll use their allotted question-level attempts to get it right. If they exhaust all their attempts on a question without answering correctly, they cannot progress to the next question.
At the quiz level, you can enable “Require a pass to complete” which means learners must pass the entire quiz (based on your set passing score) before they can complete the quiz and move forward to the next lesson. You can also control whether learners see a summary of their performance, including which questions they answered correctly or incorrectly. If a learner needs to retake the entire quiz (using their quiz-level attempts), they will need to go through all questions again - including ones they previously answered correctly.
