Creating a quiz in Compozer is a great way to assess learner understanding and make your course more interactive. This guide walks you through the steps for building a complete quiz — from adding titles and images to configuring each question type.
Step 1 – Add a Quiz Block
First, make sure you’ve added a Quiz Block to your course. You can do this by clicking Add New → Quiz within the course editor.
Step 2 – Set Up the Quiz Title and Description
Once your quiz block is in place, customise the title, subheading, and description from the left-hand sidebar.
This is where you can clearly introduce the quiz and set learner expectations.
Step 3 – Add a Quiz Image
You can upload or replace the default image that appears with your quiz.
Use a relevant, high-quality image to help the quiz stand out.
If needed, adjust the image position (left, right, or none) in the settings panel.
Step 4 – Add and Configure Question Types
Compozer supports several types of quiz questions, giving you flexibility in how you test learner knowledge.
Multiple Choice

Step 5 – Configure Quiz Settings
In the quiz settings, you can:

Step 6 – Preview and Test
When you’re done, click Preview to experience the quiz as a learner would.
