Creating a Quiz in Compozer

I’ve just started using Compozer and I’ve got to say and I’m really enjoying how easy it is to build with so far!

I do have a quick question though. Is there a way to pull data or reports showing learner progress, specifically quiz results and completion rates? I’m working on an online course that’s on a tight timeline and I’ll need to track who’s finished the lessons and how they performed on the quizzes.

Also curious if there are there different types of quiz formats available in Compozer, like multiple choice or other variations? Would love to explore what options are available for assessing learners.

Any tips or direction would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks so much,
Olga

Hey Olga, welcome aboard — great to hear you’re enjoying Compozer so far!

Yes, you can definitely track learner progress and quiz results, but this is handled once your course is exported and hosted on an LMS (Learning Management System). When you export using the LMS option, Compozer packages your course as a SCORM file. From there, your LMS will be able to report back on things like:

  • Completion status (who’s finished the course or specific lessons)

  • Quiz scores and pass/fail results

  • Overall learner progress and interaction data

If you’re planning to deliver your course on the web instead (without an LMS), Compozer itself won’t collect that data directly - it’s the LMS that handles the reporting side.

As for quiz formats, Compozer gives you flexibility with different knowledge check options. You can use things like multiple choice, true/false, and image-based questions depending on how you want to assess learners. Each type can be fully customised with feedback and scoring rules.

If you’re on a deadline, I’d recommend setting up a quick test export to your LMS early — that way, you can confirm your reporting setup is working before finalising everything.

Hope that helps you get rolling smoothly!
