How do I use blocks to build my course?

Blocks are the building blocks of your lessons in Compozer. With text, image, interactive, and media blocks, you can create engaging, interactive content for your learners. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1 – Choose Your Block

Decide which type of block you want to add: text, image, interactive, or media. Each block type is designed to serve a specific purpose in your lesson.

Step 2 – Add Content

You can either copy and paste content into your block or type directly in the editor.

Step 3 – Style Your Content

  • Apply heading styles to format text quickly.

  • Change text color or background color to match your course theme.

  • Add images or other media to make your content visually appealing.

Step 4 – Customize Images and Hotspots

If using an image block with hotspots, click on the image to edit the markers.
You can adjust their shape, size, and position for optimal interactivity.

Step 5 – Adjust Padding

Define the padding for each block to ensure your content looks great across different screen sizes.

Step 6 – Explore Other Blocks

Once you’ve added your first block, experiment with other block types and customize them to suit your lesson objectives.

Step 7 – Preview Your Block

Click the eye icon to preview how your block will appear in the lesson before publishing.

Step 8 – Add Your Block

Once satisfied, click Add Block to place it into your lesson.

By following these steps, you can effectively use blocks in Compozer to create interactive and visually engaging lessons that keep learners engaged.
