Hello
… if I’ve got a team subscription set up and invited other members what’s the best way to collaborate on a course? So example, can multiple people jump in and make edits or take over a course if someone else isn’t actively working on it?
Great question ![]()
The way collaboration works in Compozer is through shared folders. You’ll want to create a folder, move your course into it, and then share that folder with your teammate. Once that’s done, anyone with access to that folder can jump in and open the course to edit.
Now, if someone else already has the course open, you won’t be editing at the same time. Instead, you’ll see a “Take Control” option, which lets you step in and take over editing if needed. This approach is intentional - it helps avoid overlapping edits, version conflicts, or accidentally overwriting each other’s work.
So while it’s not real-time co-editing (like Google Docs), it actually keeps things clean and controlled, especially when multiple people are working on the same course.
You can find the full steps here if you need a walkthrough.
