Hi all. I’ve built a course in my own Compozer account and client who has their own Compozer licence wants to have a copy of it on their end is there a way to share or transfer a course between two separate Compozer accounts? I wasn’t sure if that’s something you can do.
Hi Garth,
Yes, you can definitely transfer a course between two separate Compozer accounts.
Here’s how to do it:
First, ask your client (the one who has the Compozer licence) to share their Team ID with you. This is their team’s unique identifier in Compozer and they can find it under their Settings section.
Once you’ve got their Team ID, go to your Compozer dashboard and find the course you want to send. Click on the three dots in the top-right corner of that course tile and select “Send a copy.”
In the window that appears, enter your client’s Team ID in the field labeled “Recipient Team ID.”
When you send it, Compozer will automatically create a full copy of that course, including all associated assets and deliver it to the recipient’s dashboard. The email address linked to that Team ID will also receive a notification confirming the transfer.
From there, your client will have their own independent copy of the course. Any edits they make won’t affect your original version (and vice versa). It’s a quick, clean way to hand off completed projects between accounts.
Hope that helps.
Cheers! Thought it was possible, just couldn’t work it out ![]()
