How to Replace Your Brand Logo in Compozer

Hey folks,

If you’ve ever been stuck wondering how the heck do I swap out the default logo in my brand kit? - you’re not alone. It’s a common spot where folks get tripped up, so here’s a quick step-by-step on how to do it (plus some bonus tips to make your courses really reflect your brand).

Replacing Your Brand Logo

Here’s how you update your logo inside Compozer:

  1. Head to the Brands page (you’ll find this in the left sidebar).
  2. In the logo section, hover your mouse over the existing logo.
  3. You’ll see three dots pop up in the top corner — click them.
  4. Choose “Replace Logo” from the dropdown menu.
  5. Upload your new logo file — and boom, it’s updated!

Super simple once you know where to look… just easy to miss the first time around.

There’s a quick video showing this process below if you’d rather watch it in action.

Customizing the Rest of Your Brand Kit

While you’re in there, don’t forget: your brand kit isn’t just about the logo. You can also:

  • Upload your own fonts to keep your typography on-brand.
  • Set your brand colors — primary, secondary, and accents.
  • Choose the overall look and feel that aligns with your style guide or client branding.

The beauty here is that once your brand kit is set up, you don’t have to tweak every element by hand. Compozer applies your settings consistently across your course.

Assigning a Brand to a Course

Now here’s where it gets flexible.

Each course in Compozer can have its own brand - so whether you’re an agency working with multiple clients or a team running different product lines, you’re covered.

To apply or switch brands inside a course:

  1. Open your course.
  2. Click on the “Brand” button in the toolbar of the course you’re working on.
  3. Choose from your list of saved brands.. it’ll apply instantly to the course.

This makes it dead-easy to preview how a course looks under different branding and update it on the fly.

Final Thoughts

Branding matters. It’s how your learners (or your clients’ learners) feel like they’re in the right place, with the right tone. Getting your logo, colors, and fonts dialed in is a small step that makes a big difference in perceived quality.
