Creating a Brand Kit in Compozer is one of the best ways to keep your courses looking consistent and professional. Whether you’re building courses for different clients or maintaining a company-wide standard, setting up a brand kit ensures every color, font, and logo stays aligned.
Here’s a clear, step-by-step guide on how to create your own Brand Kit in Compozer:
Step 1 – Go to the My Brands Page
Once you’re logged into Compozer, navigate to the left-hand sidebar and click on “My Brands.”
This is where you’ll find your existing brand kits and where you can create new ones.
Step 2 – Create a New Brand Kit
On the My Brands page, click the “+” button to create a new brand.
A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the name of your brand — for example, “Acme Training” or “Onboarding 2025.”
Brand Colours
Step 3 – Choose Your Brand Colours
Select your primary and secondary brand colours by clicking on the colour boxes.
If you’re unsure about a secondary colour, use the generate matching colour option to create a coordinated look automatically.
Your colour selections will appear throughout your courses — including backgrounds, highlights, and interface elements — to ensure consistency.
Step 4 – Set Your Text Colours
Next, choose your text colours for both your primary and secondary backgrounds.
You’ll see a live preview, so you can make sure your text remains readable and visually balanced.
Brand Typography
Step 5 – Choose Your Brand Fonts
Now it’s time to set your heading and body fonts.
The left-hand preview shows how your chosen fonts will appear throughout your course, helping you choose the right combination for tone and readability.
Uploaded Fonts
Step 6 – Upload Custom Fonts (Optional)
If your organisation or client uses specific fonts, upload them in the Uploaded Fonts section.
Ensure your fonts are in a supported format — or use the provided font conversion link if needed.
This allows your Compozer courses to align perfectly with established brand guidelines.
Brand Logos
Step 7 – Upload Your Logos
In the Logos section, upload both your primary and secondary logos.
A few helpful pointers:
-
Your primary logo should be in a light colour (for dark backgrounds).
-
Your secondary logo should be dark (for light backgrounds).
-
Ideally, both should have transparent backgrounds.
To replace an existing logo, hover over the logo area, click the three-dot menu (⋮), and select “Replace Logo.”
Step 8 – Save Your Brand Kit
When you’re happy with your setup, click Save.
Your new brand kit will appear in your My Brands list and can be accessed anytime within the course editor.
Bonus Tip: Apply Your Brand Kit to a Course
Each course in Compozer can have its own brand applied.
Inside your course, click the “Brands” button and switch to the brand you want to use. This makes it easy to maintain distinct visual identities across different projects or clients.
By following these steps, you’ll have a professional, reusable Brand Kit in Compozer that keeps your visuals consistent and your courses looking polished.
