Adding audio to your course is a great way to make your content more dynamic and engaging. Whether you’re recording directly in Compozer or uploading pre-recorded files, the process is quick and straightforward.
Step 1 – Access the Audio Section
To begin, navigate to the Uploads area from the main menu and select the Audio tab.
Here, you can either upload existing audio files or record new ones directly within Compozer.
Step 2 – Record or Upload Audio
-
To record new audio, click the Record button and begin speaking.
-
When finished, click Complete Recording to save it.
-
You can then rename the file for easier reference later.
If you already have a recording, you can simply upload your audio file instead.
Step 3 – Add an Audio Block to Your Course
Go to your course editor and open the Interactive Block Library.
Find and select the Audio Block from the list.
This will add an audio player to your lesson canvas.
Step 4 – Attach or Record Audio Within the Block
Once the Audio Block is placed, click the Element button or the audio bar inside the block.
Here, you can:
-
Upload a pre-recorded file from your device, or
-
Record directly within Compozer using your microphone.
All recordings are automatically saved to your Uploads section for easy reuse in other lessons.
Step 5 – Preview and Adjust
After adding your audio, preview the lesson to make sure it plays correctly.
You can reposition the block, adjust layout settings, or replace the audio anytime.
By following these steps, you can easily add, record, and manage audio in Compozer — making your courses more interactive, personal, and engaging for learners.
