How do I add videos to my course?

Embedding videos in your Compozer lessons is a simple way to make your content more engaging and interactive. Follow these steps to add videos to any lesson:

Step 1 – Choose Your Lesson

Open the course editor and select the lesson where you want the video to appear.
Decide on the exact position in the lesson for the video block.

Step 2 – Add a Video Block

Click Add Block and select Video from the list of available blocks.
This inserts a video player into your lesson canvas.

Step 3 – Select the Video Source

Within the Video Block, you can either:

  • Choose an existing video from your media library, or

  • Click the Element button on the right-hand side to add a new video.

Step 4 – Embed Your Video

In the Select an Element dropdown, choose Video.

Step 5 – Add the Video Link

Paste the URL of your video from YouTube or Vimeo into the Video URL field.

Step 6 – Preview and Save

Preview your lesson to ensure the video plays correctly.
Once satisfied, save your changes.

And that’s it! Your video is now embedded and ready for learners to watch directly within your course.
