Editing the images that come with your template is straightforward. You can customize images to better fit your course branding or messaging while keeping the same layout and design. Here’s how:
Step 1 – Access the My Uploads Folder
When you select a pre-designed template, all associated images are copied to your My Uploads folder.
Navigate to this folder to locate the image you want to edit.
Step 2 – Download the Original Image
Click the three-dot button next to the image and select Download.
Save the image to your computer so you can edit it.
Step 3 – Edit the Image
Use your preferred editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or GIMP.
Make your desired changes while keeping the image dimensions the same as the original to maintain the layout.
Step 4 – Upload the Edited Image
Once editing is complete, save the image and upload it back to Compozer in the lesson.
Step 5 – Replace the Original Image
Select the block containing the original image.
Click the Background button in the right-hand sidebar, then select Edit.
Choose the Replace option to swap in your edited image.
Step 6 – Select and Save Your Edited Image
Upload your edited image and select it as the new image.
Click Save once you’re happy with the changes.
And that’s it! Your edited image will now appear in the block, replacing the original template image, while keeping your lesson layout intact.
