Hey everyone, I’ve recently taken over a Compozer course that someone else created from my team and I’m trying to make a few updates.
I’ve got a few blocks I’d like to move into a different lesson within the same course. One is just a text paragraph (easy enough), but the other two are more complex like a flashcard block and a labeled graphic. Rebuilding them from scratch would be pretty time consuming. Is there any way to move entire blocks to a different lesson without having to recreate them manually?
Appreciate any help or tips!

Hi George,
You can absolutely move or copy blocks between lessons - no need to rebuild them from scratch.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to the block you’d like to move or duplicate.
- Click on the Duplicate icon from the floating settings toolbar (the small panel that appears when you hover over the block).
- A pop-up model will appear asking where you’d like to duplicate the block -choose “To Another Lesson.”
- You’ll then be prompted to select the lesson within your course that you’d like to duplicate to.
- Once duplicated, the block will appear at the bottom of the target lesson, and from there you can easily drag and reorder it to the desired position.
If you don’t want the block to remain in both lessons, you can simply delete the original version after duplicating it. Alternatively, if you’re making larger structural updates, another option is to duplicate the entire lesson and then remove any unnecessary blocks - whichever fits your workflow best.
Take a look at the screenshots below to see exactly where the duplicate button and options are located. This feature makes reorganizing and reusing content across lessons quick and painless.
