How can I test my Scorm file?

Hi Compozers!! I’ve exported a course as a scorm package, but I don’t currently have access to an LMS to test it. Is there a way to check that it works properly before sending it to my client?

Suggerstions would be super helpful. Thanks!

Definitely a smart step before sending anything off to a client.

If you don’t have access to an LMS yet, the easiest way to test your SCORM package is through SCORM Cloud. It’s a free online tool (by the same folks who created SCORM) that lets you upload and launch your course exactly as an LMS would - perfect for checking that your course loads correctly, tracks progress, and reports completions as expected.

Here’s how to do it:

Create a free account on SCORM Cloud.

  1. Once logged in, go to Library → Add Content → Import a SCORM, AICC, xAPI, or cmi5 package.
  2. Upload your exported ZIP file from Compozer.
  3. Launch the course and go through it just like a learner would.

You’ll be able to confirm things like navigation, quiz reporting, and completion tracking without needing an LMS.

Once you’re happy with the results, you can confidently pass the SCORM file on to your client knowing it’ll behave as expected in their system.
