Moving blocks in Compozer is easy and flexible. You can rearrange your lesson content using either the **arrow controls** or **drag-and-drop** functionality.

* * *

### Step 1 – Choose Your Block

When building a lesson, you’ll have access to different block types: **text, image, interactive, and media blocks**. Decide which block you want to move.

* * *

### Step 2 – Select the Block

Click on the block you want to move. You can either:

- Use the arrows directly on the block, or

- Select the block from the **sidebar** for drag-and-drop movement.

* * *

### Step 3 – Move Using the Arrows

Click the **up or down arrows** on the block to reposition it within the lesson.
Each click moves the block one spot in the chosen direction, allowing for precise placement.

* * *

### Step 4 – Move Using Drag-and-Drop

From the **sidebar** , click and hold the block you want to move.
Drag it to the desired location within your lesson and release the mouse button to drop it in place.

* * *

With these simple methods, you can quickly reorganize your course content and create a smooth, logical flow for learners.
