# How do I add videos to my course?

Embedding videos in your Compozer lessons is a simple way to make your content more engaging and interactive. Follow these steps to add videos to any lesson:

### Step 1 – Choose Your Lesson

Open the course editor and select the **lesson** where you want the video to appear.  
Decide on the exact position in the lesson for the video block.

### Step 2 – Add a Video Block

Click **Add Block** and select **Video** from the list of available blocks.  
This inserts a video player into your lesson canvas.

### Step 3 – Select the Video Source

Within the Video Block, you can either:

- Choose an **existing video** from your media library, or

- Click the **Element** button on the right-hand side to add a **new video**.

### Step 4 – Embed Your Video

In the **Select an Element** dropdown, choose **Video**.

### Step 5 – Add the Video Link

Paste the URL of your video from **YouTube** or **Vimeo** into the **Video URL** field.

### Step 6 – Preview and Save

Preview your lesson to ensure the video plays correctly.  
Once satisfied, **save your changes**.

And that’s it! Your video is now embedded and ready for learners to watch directly within your course.
